Paul Bernier Architecte Studio
In an old car wash in the Plateau, we built our studio with the desire to create a bright, stimulating and pleasant place to live and work.
    We wanted to preserve its workshop spirit, a robust place where things are made. The work tables are made of solid cherrywood on steel supports, the floors are polished concrete. Our work tools surround us, at hand, on shelves integrated in the structural system, composed of double beams and columns. The shelves were made from recovered wood from the old building frame.
    The layout of the workshop is organized according to a central axis defined by the 2 large windows at the front and ending with the meeting room. In the center, a skylight illuminates the heart of the workshop and allows cross ventilation.
    At the back, a small extra studio opens onto a pretty courtyard overlooking the nearby street.
